We have an experienced practice nurse who works on Thursdays. The practice nurse provides care for patients with minor conditions and chronic diseases. Some of the services they provide are:
- Asthma checks & advice
- Blood pressure monitoring
- Dressings & wound care
- Diabetic annual check & advice
- Dietary advice
- Immunisations – childhood, adults and travel immunisations
- Removal of Stitches
- New patient checks
- Smoking Cessation Advice
- Smear tests
- We are a Yellow Fever designated centre – Both doctors administer Yellow Fever vaccinations ( a fee is charged for this service)
- Weight Loss Advice
- Well Woman / Well Man
