Your GP may refer you for certain diagnostic services through direct referral to various services available in primary care. These will be available by appointment only. Some of the diagnostic services are summarised below:
Cardiac Investigations: Queens hospital and other community clinics
- Electrocardiogram (ECG)
- 24 Hours ECG recording
- 24 Hours blood pressure monitoring
- Echocardiogram (ECHO)
Radiology and Imaging: King George and Queens Hospital and other community diagnostic centres
- X-rays
- MRI , CT scan
- Ultrasound Scan
- Mammogram
- Doppler study
- DEXA Scan
- Renal – Pyelogram
Respiratory: Barking hospital
- Spirometry – Lung Function test -FeNo test
